Statement of Intent

My magazine will be called 'Truth.' It is usually about how young adults can make the community a better place to be and how creative the human mind is and can be.

It will feature an young black adult animator called Shakye on the front cover of the magazine who shows the readers that being creative with yourself is a part of life. My magazine will also involve popular controversy such as KSI's prime bottle brand, and also Shakye's work such as recent animation and stories that are yet to be released. Also, I would likely add a little comic section of Shakye's artwork  for the younger audience to enjoy reading and be kept at interest.

I believe this magazine will peak interest to the audiences of young children and encourage others to spread the word of this magazine and that it will be a nation's recommended magazine. My goal is to get the word around of the eyes of many, and that people will be inspired by what the magazine is trying to give out to the audience.

The camera shots used will be a Close up/Half body shot on the front cover, so that people know that  the one they all recognise and most likely be idolised from. Also, I will use a half body of myself for the front page, as the centre of attention, and the main focus for the audience. This will most likely keep the audience at interest of the animator I chosen.

Mise-en-Scene: How cartoon characters seem just like drawings to an adult's eyes, however they might seem "lifelike" to the eyes of a young child, additionally, there will be a section for people of a higher age. Adding on to this, I''ll put short backstory of how the chosen person succeeded to be one of the community's well known animators/authors/. Finally, I'll be adding links/websites on where to find the animator's stories/animations plus a website where the public could potentially ask more questions or tips with him. My representations is to aim this magazine at people of all age, gender, race and ethnicity, although I'd hope this would be targeted at young Black people of working class.
